Why was an active-looking address marked invalid?
Invalid means the address had bad syntax, its domain cannot receive mail, or the mailbox was rejected when we checked. If you are sure it works, retry and read the reason.

1. Read the reason
The reason field says what failed: syntax_invalid, no_mx or a mailbox rejection from the server.
2. Check for typos
A single wrong letter in the domain, such as gmial.com, can look right and fail.
3. Retry
Run the address again later. If the second result differs, the first was a temporary condition.
4. Confirm with the person
Ask them to confirm by email link. A mailbox that changed or closed recently will fail to confirm.
Good to know
A result describes the address at the time of the check. A mailbox that was just created or just reopened may need time to be accepted.
