In practice

Sales sequences usually send follow-ups a few days apart and stop when the person replies, books a meeting or unsubscribes. They differ from a drip campaign in that each step is meant to read as a personal follow-up.

Verification and sending

A sequence repeats its risk at every step. Verify the contact before step one.
