Verification statuses at a glance
Every result is one of seven statuses: valid, invalid, risky, disposable, catchall, role or unknown. Use the status to decide what to do and is_deliverable to branch in code.

The statuses
valid: the address accepted mail at check time. invalid: bad syntax, a domain that cannot receive mail, or a rejected mailbox. risky: deliverable but flagged, so a bounce or low engagement is more likely.
disposable: a temporary-inbox domain. catchall: the domain accepts every recipient, so the mailbox cannot be confirmed. role: a shared mailbox such as info@ or support@. unknown: the check could not reach a conclusion.
Billing
Every status except unknown costs 1 credit. Unknown results are not billed.

Good to know
A result describes the address at the time of the check. It does not guarantee delivery or inbox placement.
