Email case sensitivity

The standard says the local part may be case-sensitive and the domain is not. In practice nearly every provider treats them as the same, so Ana@Example.test and ana@example.test reach one mailbox. Lowercase addresses before you deduplicate.

If you compare addresses without lowercasing them, one person appears twice and you verify and email them twice.
