Bounce rate

It is bounced ÷ sent × 100. Track hard and soft separately, because only hard bounces say the address is bad. Mailbox providers and sending platforms publish the rates they consider acceptable, so check the limits that apply to you.

10,000 sent and 150 hard bounces gives a hard bounce rate of 1.5%.

The most direct way to lower a hard bounce rate is to verify the list and remove invalid addresses before the send.
