A set of triggers, conditions, delays and actions that sends a series of emails on its own.

In practice
A welcome flow might send a message on signup, wait two days, then branch on whether the first was opened. Flows are built in the sending tool and run per contact.
Example
Signup → wait 1 day → welcome email → wait 3 days → tips email if the welcome was opened.
Verification and sending
Put verification at the entry point of the flow so only working addresses join it.
