DNS Checker
See a domain’s A, AAAA, MX, NS and TXT records in one report, with a few checks that matter for sending email.
How it works
What gets checked
We query the five record types through a public DNS-over-HTTPS resolver and list what is published with TTLs. We flag a missing mail server or name server, and more than one SPF record, which receivers treat as an error.
Limits
What it cannot tell you
- It reads public DNS through a DNS-over-HTTPS resolver. It does not send mail and cannot say whether a message will be delivered or pass authentication.
- It reads the records at the name you enter. Subdomain records, CNAME chains and DNS views that differ by location are not followed.
- Seeing a record does not prove it is correct for your sending setup. Use the SPF, DKIM and DMARC checkers for those.
- Anonymous use is limited to 30 checks per hour.
