How it works

What it does

Enter a selector and your domain. The page generates an RSA-2048 key pair with your browser’s crypto, gives you the public key as a DKIM TXT record, and lets you download the private key for your mail server.

Limits

What it cannot tell you

  • Generating a key does not set up signing. Your mail server or provider must be configured with the private key and selector.
  • Many email services create keys for you; in that case copy the record they give you instead.
  • The private key is never uploaded, and cannot be recovered if you lose it.
  • It does not confirm the record is published; use the DKIM checker afterward.
