SPF Record Checker
Enter a domain to read its SPF record, follow includes and redirects, and see syntax errors, loops and lookup-count risks.
How it works
What gets checked
We fetch the domain's TXT records, keep those starting with v=spf1, and flag duplicates. Each term is parsed (all, include, a, mx, ptr, ip4, ip6, exists, redirect), IP ranges are validated, and include/redirect targets are fetched in turn.
Limits
What it cannot tell you
- It reads public DNS TXT records only. It does not know your sending IP or MAIL FROM, so it cannot say whether a given message passes or fails SPF.
- It follows include: and redirect= targets (up to 10 levels and 20 DNS requests). a, mx, ptr and exists terms are counted but not expanded.
- Records that use macros are reported as incomplete.
- The 10-lookup count is a static estimate; real evaluation can stop earlier.
- Anonymous use is limited to 10 checks per hour.
