How to find someone’s email address
Start with where the person published it, then ask, then infer from the company’s pattern, and verify whatever you end up with. Skip methods that break a site’s terms.

1. Look where it is published
The company website, a speaker page, a paper or a public profile. An address someone chose to publish is the best starting point.
2. Ask
A short message through a channel you already have, or the company’s contact address, often gets a direct address.
3. Infer from a pattern
If a colleague’s address is first.last@company, try the same for this person. Treat it as a guess.
4. Verify
Check the guess. If the domain is catch-all the check cannot confirm it, so send a short, relevant message and watch for a bounce.
