Guide
How to end an email
Finish with one clear next step, a short closing line, a sign-off and your name. Match the sign-off to how well you know the reader.

Say what happens next
“Could you send the figures by Friday?” works better than “Let me know”.
Pick a sign-off
Formal: Kind regards, Sincerely. Neutral: Best regards, Thanks. Friendly: Cheers, Talk soon. Avoid ones that read as pressure.
Add your details
Name, role and one way to reach you. Keep the signature short.
Good to know
Match the culture of the person you are writing to; when unsure, “Best regards” is rarely wrong.
