Workflow
Handling multi-location businesses in local email lists
A chain with forty locations produces forty rows, often with the same or a pattern-derived address. Collapse by domain before verifying.
Example
A sample file (fictional data)
| business | city | domain | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fresh Mart | Springfield | freshmart.example.test | info@freshmart.example.test |
| Fresh Mart | Shelbyville | freshmart.example.test | info@freshmart.example.test |
| Fresh Mart | Capital City | freshmart.example.test | store12@freshmart.example.test |
Fictional rows. One company, three locations, two distinct addresses.
Collapse by domain
Group rows by domain, keep the distinct addresses, and decide whether you want the head-office address or the location ones. Verifying duplicates wastes credits.
Decide who you are writing to
A store address reaches a store manager, a head-office one reaches a buyer. Choose by your offer, then verify what you kept.
