Email Spam Checker

Paste a subject line and message to see which common content problems it contains, such as shouting, link shorteners and a missing unsubscribe line.

How it works

What it does

We run a fixed set of rules over the subject and body, including capital letters, exclamation marks, URL shorteners, numeric-IP links, links whose visible address differs from the destination, image-only HTML, phrases common in bulk promotions and the lack of unsubscribe wording. Each finding says what matched and what to change.

Limits

What it cannot tell you

  • This is not a spam score and it cannot predict inbox placement. Mailbox providers do not publish their filters, and delivery also depends on your domain authentication, sending reputation and list quality.
  • The rules are ours and cover a small set of common problems. A message with no findings can still be filtered.
  • The unsubscribe note is a reminder, not legal advice. Check the rules that apply to your sending.
  • Up to 200,000 characters. Runs in your browser; nothing you paste is sent anywhere.
