Verify emails from WordPress
ValidReach has no WordPress plugin or native integration. You can still check addresses by calling the REST API from server-side PHP in a custom plugin or theme function, or an automation tool that can send an HTTP request when a form is submitted. This page describes the pattern; follow WordPress’s own documentation for the exact screens and settings, which change over time.
Where verification fits
The most useful places are registration and contact or comment forms. Verify the address when it is submitted, so typos and throwaway addresses never enter your list.
The call
Send the address from your server or automation step, never from browser code, because the request carries your API key.
curl -X POST https://validreach.dev/api/v1/verify/single \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $VALIDREACH_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"email":"user@example.com"}'Use the result
Branch on data.status. Reject or ask for a correction on invalid, tag disposable, send catchall and risky addresses at lower volume, and retry unknown later when retryable is true (unknown is not billed). HTTP 402 means out of credits and 429 means rate limited.
Before you rely on it
Test with a few addresses first. If WordPress cannot run server-side code or send an HTTP request in your plan, verify the exported list instead with a list job.
