Verify emails in Zapier

ValidReach does not have its own Zapier app. You can call the REST API from a webhook or custom-request step, which most automation tools offer.

Set up the request

In your automation tool add a step that sends an HTTP POST request (in Zapier this is the Webhooks by Zapier custom request action; step names differ by tool and change over time).

Use the URL https://validreach.dev/api/v1/verify/single, the header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY, the header Content-Type: application/json and the body {"email": "<the address from the previous step>"}.

POST https://validreach.dev/api/v1/verify/single
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY
Content-Type: application/json

{"email":"user@example.com"}

Use the result

Add a filter or branch on data.status. Continue only for valid, handle catchall, risky and role by your policy, and send unknown to a retry path.

Keep the API key in the tool’s secret storage, and remember the key can spend credits, so limit who can edit the automation.
