Verify emails collected from Sortlist

Sortlist is an agency marketplace. If you gathered agency contact emails from it, verify them before you send: collecting many addresses at once is when duplicates creep in, so deduplicate before you pay to verify.

Example

A sample file (fictional data)

Brightside Digitalbrightside.example.testinfo@brightside.example.testsortlist
Quill & Coquill.example.testRaj Patelraj@quill.example.testsortlist

Fictional rows. Expect the shared info@ address to come back as role, and keep the source column so you can compare results per source.

Prepare the list

Put one contact per row and keep a source column set to "sortlist". Agency listings often give a general inbox rather than a named person, so expect a share of role addresses such as info@ and hello@.

Save as CSV or XLSX with a header row. Name the address column email, or choose it from the Email column picker when you upload.

Run the check and read the results

Upload the file on the list verification page. When the job finishes, download results with include_original so your own columns (company, source) stay next to the status.

Send to valid. Review role and catchall separately. Retry unknown later: it is not billed and the check may succeed on a second attempt. Drop invalid and disposable.

Before you collect

Check the source site’s terms for what you may collect and how you may use it, and follow the privacy and anti-spam rules that apply to your sending. ValidReach verifies addresses you already have; it does not supply contacts from any source.
