Verify emails collected from BBB
BBB is a business directory with ratings and accreditation listings. Directory addresses are self-reported and age; record the collection date and re-verify old rows.
A sample file (fictional data)
| business | trade | city | source | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oak Street Plumbing | plumber | Springfield | oakplumb@mail.example.test | bbb |
| Bright Roofing | roofer | Springfield | info@brightroof.example.test | bbb |
| Lumen Electric | electrician | Shelbyville | lumen@lumenelec.example.test | bbb |
Fictional rows. Free-mail and info@ addresses are common in this segment; keep the source column to compare sources later.
What the list contains
Local trades and shops tend to list one shared inbox or a free-mail address. Expect many role and free-mail results; that is a targeting fact, not a data error.
Verify and decide
Upload, download results with the original columns, send to valid, review role, test catchall in a small batch, retry unknown and remove invalid and disposable.
Before you collect
Directories and the sites they link to have their own terms, and some restrict automated collection. Check them and the privacy and anti-spam rules that apply to your sending. ValidReach verifies addresses you already have; it does not scrape or supply listings.
