Free Email Validator
Check an email address for valid syntax and whether its domain has mail servers.
Syntax is checked in your browser. Only the domain (not the part before @) is sent to look up its MX records.
How it works
What it does
The address is normalized and checked against practical syntax rules in your browser. If the syntax is valid, we look up the domain’s MX records over DNS. We also flag free providers, disposable domains and role accounts, and suggest a fix for likely typos.
Limits
What it cannot tell you
- Depth is syntax plus MX. It does not connect to the mail server, so it cannot tell whether the mailbox exists.
- A domain with mail servers can still reject a specific address.
- Only the domain is sent for the MX lookup; the part before @ stays in your browser.
- Anonymous lookups are rate limited.
