How it works
What it does
Each rate is the number of bounces divided by emails sent, shown as a percentage. Hard bounces are permanent failures such as an address that does not exist; soft bounces are temporary, like a full mailbox.
Limits
What it cannot tell you
- The denominator is emails sent, not emails delivered. Some platforms divide differently, so compare like with like.
- There is no universal safe threshold. Your email service and mailbox providers set their own limits; check your provider’s guidance.
- It cannot tell you why addresses bounced. Verifying a list before sending reduces hard bounces.
- Runs in your browser; nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
