A policy for catch-all addresses in cold email
A catch-all domain accepts mail for any local part, so verification cannot tell whether the person exists. Decide the rule once instead of per list.
A starting rule
Send to catchall only after valid addresses, in a small test batch, and from a segment you can afford to lose. If the batch bounces later, suppress that domain.
Raise confidence
An address you saw on the company’s own site is more trustworthy than one guessed from a pattern. Record how_found and prefer the former.
