Brevo review: email, SMS and CRM in one platform

What Brevo publishes about its all-in-one platform, and the verification questions to ask before importing a list.

Brevo is the company formerly known as Sendinblue. It positions itself as an all-in-one platform for email, SMS, WhatsApp, chat and CRM. This is a criteria-based review of the vendor’s published material, not a hands-on test.

What the vendor publishes

Brevo’s pricing page groups plans by sending volume and features, with a starter plan aimed at single users and higher tiers for multi-channel teams. The platform combines campaigns, automation, forms and a contact database; the CRM and conversation tools sit alongside email.

Where verification fits

An all-in-one platform makes it easy to collect addresses from forms, chat and imports. That also makes it easy to collect typos and disposable addresses. Verify at capture, and clean imported lists before the first campaign. Ask whether the platform’s own bounce handling changes the status of a contact or merely suppresses it.

Questions to ask

  1. Which plan includes the channels and automation you need?
  2. Does the API return a documented status for catch-all and unknown addresses?
  3. How do you export contacts, suppressions and campaign history?
  4. Are verification checks billed per address, per result or per month?

Run a small pilot

Test a sample from each source, then compare the bounce and complaint outcomes with the verification results. Keep the comparison on your own data.
