Verify emails from Hunter
Hunter is an email finder that also reports its own confidence in each address. Finder tools return addresses with a confidence value. Keep that value in a column and compare it with the verification result: a high confidence is the tool’s estimate, a verified result is a check at your send time.
A sample file (fictional data)
| name | company | confidence | source | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ana Silva | Northwind Studio | ana@northwind.example.test | high | hunter |
| Raj Patel | Quill & Co | raj@quill.example.test | medium | hunter |
| Mei Chen | Lumen Goods | mei@lumen.example.test | unknown | hunter |
Fictional rows. Look first at rows where the finder’s confidence is high but the result is invalid or catchall.
Compare, do not replace
Keep Hunter’s own status in the confidence column. After verification, download results with the original columns and compare the two row by row.
Send to valid. Review role and catchall separately. Retry unknown later because it is not billed. Remove invalid and disposable.
Where they disagree
When the tool is confident and the result is invalid, trust the newer check. When the tool is unsure and the result is valid, you have recovered a contact. We make no claim about any tool’s accuracy; measure it on your own export.
Before you collect
Check the source site’s terms for what you may collect and how you may use it, and follow the privacy and anti-spam rules that apply to your sending. ValidReach verifies addresses you already have; it does not supply contacts from any source.
