Workflow
From review-site listings to verified SaaS contacts
Review sites list many software companies. To contact them, resolve each listing to a company domain, collect addresses from the company’s own site, and verify before sending.
Example
A sample file (fictional data)
| product | domain | mx_ok | |
|---|---|---|---|
| TaskLoop | taskloop.example.test | hello@taskloop.example.test | yes |
| Inbox Pilot | inboxpilot.example.test | maya@inboxpilot.example.test | yes |
| Old Tool | oldtool.example.test | team@oldtool.example.test | no |
An MX lookup on the domain first saves credits: a domain with no mail server cannot receive anything.
Check the domain first
Run the domains through the free MX lookup before verifying addresses. Companies that closed or moved often have no mail servers left.
Then verify addresses
Verify the remaining addresses and act on the result. SaaS vendors commonly use hosted mail that accepts all recipients, so catchall is frequent: treat it as unconfirmed.
