Verify emails collected from Capterra
Capterra is a software review site. Vendor contacts gathered from it are usually product or sales inboxes, so the main decision is what to do with role addresses.
A sample file (fictional data)
| product | vendor_domain | source | |
|---|---|---|---|
| TaskLoop | taskloop.example.test | sales@taskloop.example.test | capterra |
| Inbox Pilot | inboxpilot.example.test | maya@inboxpilot.example.test | capterra |
| Chart Forge | chartforge.example.test | support@chartforge.example.test | capterra |
Fictional rows. sales@ and support@ are role addresses: decide per campaign whether a team inbox is a valid target.
What to expect
Software vendors publish team inboxes more often than personal ones. After verification, a high share of role results is normal; that is a targeting decision, not a data error.
Handling role and catch-all
Send sales-oriented messages to sales@ only if the offer fits a team inbox. Treat catchall as unconfirmed and start with a small batch. Retry unknown later; it is not billed.
Before you collect
Check the source site’s terms for what you may collect and how you may use it, and follow the privacy and anti-spam rules that apply to your sending. ValidReach verifies addresses you already have; it does not supply contacts from any source.
