Acceptable use

Abuse and anti-spam policy

ValidReach exists to help responsible senders. Verification is not a tool for building spam lists. Report abuse or questions below.

Principles

How we approach abuse

01

Permission-based data only

Customers may only use ValidReach with addresses they have a lawful right to process — typically opt-in or transactional relationships.

02

Watch for non-permission patterns

We look for signals of purchased, scraped, guessed, or otherwise non-permission data sources.

03

Educate first when possible

When we suspect non-compliant use, we explain policy and expected practices.

04

Suspend abuse

Accounts that continue to violate anti-spam or acceptable-use rules may be suspended or closed.

Not allowed

Examples of non-permission data

  • Purchased email lists (regardless of vendor “opt-in” claims)
  • Harvested or scraped addresses
  • Guessed addresses via permutation testing or directory harvesting
  • Any address where the recipient has not authorized the intended use

If you are unsure whether your data source is allowed, contact us before uploading large lists.
